As some of you have already surmised, the Iceman has made his return to Xavier's.

The snow this morning was a little saying hey to everyone. Sorry about the inconveniences to some of you, I probably should have checked more thoroughly to make sure that there wasn't anyone asleep outside before dumping the powder. But after seeing the reaction ranging all the way from girls running outside in bathing suits to a kid who is bundled up and looking like he's about to lead an expedition to the North Pole, I have to say, it's good to be back.

To those of you new to the mansion since my last tenure, I’d like to say hello, my name is Robert Drake. I’m returning to the mansion after a hiatus spent overseas in Ireland, and will be serving to help around the school due to some of the recent departures. Think of me as the temporary "Super Substitute", sticking my head in and out of some of the classes. Oh, and just in case you guys were thinking about pulling a fast one, I’d just like to warn you that I was a student here for eight years, so I doubt you’ll be able to trick me, but you’re always welcome to try.

And to those of you that remember, I’m back in my old room if you guys would like to catch up, I’d love to see all of you. And before you ask, no Terry is not with me, she’s back in Europe, so I don’t have any cute outfits or shoes to borrow. But I'm sure she'd love to hear from all of you as well.

Other than that, I'm ready for this year to start, and there shouldn't be too many freak blizzards in the future. But, you never know...

Hello, Mr. Drake. I do not think we met when you were here before - I was being very new and then I went back to Kosovo for a time to see my mother. So it is good to meet you. I am Yvette and I will probably be in one of your classes.

And thank you for the snow. I know not everyone was happy to see it, but I had fun playing in it. :)

Well I look forward to meeting you Yvette. And I'm happy to hear at least one of the students doesn't want to come after me because of the snow.

It's an expression, Cats. *grins* Just meant he appeared out of nowhere like one of your 'presents' back when you were doing the dead mouse thing.

Oh! Oh oh oh! Catseye understands! Hahaha that is funny. So Bobby is like a dead mousey?

Glad to be back Sefton. When I'm not being pounced by the new students, maybe we can catch up.

Harry's is still there and we're both legal. Drag Ange and John-Boy along too.

Now the sudden appearance of snow does make sense.

Welcome back, Bobby.

I'm surprised that you and a few of the others didn't melt through it before it even hit the ground.

Even newly melted snow is cold when it hits the back of your neck.

Though it did look like there were quite a few people enjoying it. It would be quite mean to melt it away while they were doing so.

I'll come by for a visit...but check with Terry if you need a chaperone ;-)

I'd love to see you Marie. But I'm sure Terry will appreciate it being in a public place :p

I'll take you out for hot cocoa. Nothing's safer than cocoa in public.

I'm still going to call her just the same. I remember when people thought a relaxing trip to Las Vegas was safe...

But I'm looking forward to it none the less.

Oh, so you're the reason for all the snow related goodness. Doesn't top Vermont yet, sorry.

But you should snow up Jane's room. I'll pay you fifty bucks.

I'm not saying that a blizzard in someone's room hasn't happened before when I was around. But what kind of an example would I set if a teacher did that?

P.S. E-mail me and we'll talk about project white wake up call :)

Consider it done.

And I think it'd be an awesome example. But I'm told I'm a real fucked up judge of these things.
